When designing native advertising, choosing the right image can play a key role in the success of your campaign. The visual element is the first thing that grabs users' attention and is the deciding factor in whether or not they click further. In this article, we will show you how to choose the ideal image that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also effectively drives the message and increases the performance of the ad.
Which picture should we choose?
- optimal aspect ratio: 3:2 horizontal format
- minimum resolution 1000x650 px
- 60 px from the edge of the image is required
- maximum file size 10 MB
- Format JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF
- No text, logo
Native advertising, as the name suggests, blends into its environment and does not intrude on the reader's attention. It is not a banner to attract the attention of the internet user!
Simplicity: Avoid cluttered, complicated images. A focused, easy to understand image is more effective.
- Emotional impact: Images that evoke positive emotions (happiness, joy, success) tend to perform better.
- Uniqueness: Stand out from the crowd! A creative, eye-catching image is more likely to be remembered by users.
- Faces: Images of people's faces tend to be more appealing, as people tend to look at faces.
Use more images to make it easy to A/B test your ads.
Our presentations are always in line with the identity of the portal. The size and aspect ratio of the images in the content guides are not uniform, so it is possible that the edges of the images may be cropped during the automatic scaling process.
It's a good idea to place the main graphic of the image in the inner yellow bar, so it won't be lost when cropping.
For 4:3 ratio images
For 3:2 ratio images
For 16:9 ratio images
Good image selection means that nothing essential is lost in the editing process. So, please don't put products, text, human faces, graphic elements on the edges of the image that, if cut into, would look ugly!
Important to know: There will be an "Ad" label in the top corner, so it will hang into the image, so it is necessary to use images that do not have a prominent graphic element in this part.
